OH...what a day.

it actually wasn't a bad day or anything...just seemed to drag on forever. i'm just now getting into bed and i seriously feel like it's 12am. although just as i was typing that i glanced at the time and it's only 10 til 9!!! haha i just tucked tristan in and we read 2 chapters in the learning from the great teacher book. he really enjoys that book and he's pretty good at answering almost all of the questions correctly! i'm really proud to have such a smart little boy. he's pretty sweet, too. that little girl...oooh boy. she didn't get her nap today so she was a real stick of dynamite! she was very crazy/goofy/silly whatever...and so she went to bed at 7:30. she didn't put up a fuss either...she was TIRED! they both ate really really good (even though frank bought them a milkshake a little too close to dinner). they had grilled cheese and cars chicken noodle soup. cleaned their plates! tomorrow we're starting back up w/ chore charts...they just seem so much more cooperative when we do that. so, we'll see how that goes.

i went to the dr today. i went in for this stupid cough/cold/congestion crud. she said it's just something going around and she gave me a couple of prescriptions...i'll get those filled tomorrow. i also had her look at this weird bump that i've had on my back for a while now...a couple mos. it wasn't like a pimple or anything...didn't hurt...just there. she said she feels like it's some sort of cyst possibly but that she'd rather refer me to a dermatologist. which was awesome because the next thing i was going to bring up was my face that has been so broke out i can barely touch it because it hurts all over. i don't know what's up!! so, she gave me the referral and put on there to have them look at both things...so yay! i'm glad i'm going and it's right over here by the house...so that's good.

anyways...that's about all i know for now. not a whole lot else new. i didn't really update this weekend because i just felt yukky. i slept off and on, we layed around and watched tv/movies, the kids played outside a little, and that's about it. it was just a lazy weekend.

well, i guess i'm off here for now. i don't really have any new pics to share...but i'll try and get some new ones tomorrow and the next day here and there. the kids are LOVING this cool weather...it was 50 all day here today!! i love it, too...although i've been coughing nonstop...so that's no fun. hopefully the meds will help though! so, goodnight for now...i'm turning in early! hope everyone else is doing fine. love yas!

Just Another Day!

not a whole lot new here today. the kids are in bed, frank's shoo'ing a gecko out the door, and the animals are all being nosey. big surprise! lol other than that not a whole lot. frank made bbq shredded pork for dinner, i made baked potatoes and broccoli (which tristan informed me is awesome because it has the work 'rock' in it. HAHA). dinner was really good...although we're a little miserable from eating too much! hehe

anywho...jordyn was still in bed (supposed to be napping, but not!) when tristan got home from school...so frank had him finish up his homework then they went fishing for a bit. it started raining the minute they left...but they went ahead and went and tristan caught a pretty good sized one! they didn't keep it though...so i think the next time we go we're going to keep whatever we catch. i guess if we don't eat it then we have some nice frozen trophies. LOL! so, i guess that was the excitement of the day.

i snapped a couple cute pics of jordyn in the bath and frank washing her hair. she was just being a big goofball...are we surprised? also one in there of tristan...i snuck up on him hehehe. then jordyn chansing loki outside in her princess attire. nice, hu? lol

i guess i'm going to get off here in a few and work on some bows. no new orders, but something i've been working on for a while. so, that'll be done. i also might do a little scrapbooking. probably not though because i had a sinus headache all day and it just went away and i am TIRED. so, as much as i'd like to do alot...i think i'll probably end up going to bed at a decent hour.

school picture...

well, i finally got jordyn's school pics back! they were all SO cute! there were about 3-4 different poses...but this one is by far the cutest! she looks so grown up...but at the same time so little. my little girlie's growing up that's for sure!!

tristan should be getting his back soon, too! i'll post that when i get it!

other than that not too much new. jordyn's having a not so great day today (she seemed fine this morning...but i guess over the course of the morning something must have irritated her or something!)...so i fed her and put her to bed. i don't think she would've done too well at the meeting this afternoon. so, we'll see how she's doing when she wakes up. hopefully better because between that bad mood and tristan's usual after school mood...i might go nuts today! lol

anyways...i'm going to go work on bows i guess since i have a bit until i have to get tristan!

fishy fishy...

thought i'd share a few pics of the kids fishing today. they both had a pretty good time...although tristan did pout a little since he didn't catch anything himself. lol little grouch. we did catch a few small ones though and frank was letting tristan take them off the hook and throw them back...so he was having fun doing that. jordyn was good and stayed by us but she was a little bored just standing there holding the pole (you can imagine i'm sure...) so i held it for her and when something would bite i'd call her over and let her bring it in. lol it was fun though. that's about all we did today. we did watch a movie when we got home (the bee movie) and one before they went to bed (treaure planet)...so, they're all sleeping now. anywho...here are the pics! guess i'm off to bed after this.

a quick one...

so tristan's reading jordyn a bedtime story (SO cute!) so i thought i'd post real quick. today was a pretty good day...tristan said he had a GREAT day at school...jordyn's day was good...thank goodness! she got her school pics back and they turned out great...the only problem is that they are SO expensive we're only getting one sheet!! oh well. anyways...she got a free t-shirt w/ her picture on it that's really cute!

not much else going on here other than that. we all went outside for a while this evening. it was so nice out...about 75 degrees. we played frisbee, football, and we taught the kids how to do cartwheels! lol it was really fun. it was even better watching frank do cartwheels!! hahaha it was nice being out though...i love this weather...it's probably my favorite part of the year.

a nice day...

today was a pretty nice day out...it was really cool and breezy and just perfect weather for being outside. so, after tristan got out of school we came home, did homework, watched a lifetime movie (yes, he watches them w/ me! LOL!), then when frank got out of class we met him at the park. the kids had a really nice time since we haven't been to that park in a while. it's nice because there aren't ever alot of people there. tristan likes this rock that they have there that is for climbing on...today he got jordyn to climb up it! i thought they looked so cute up there so i snapped a couple pics. you can't tell in the pics but jordyn got injured today on her bed and her booboo looks like a UNIBROW!!! it seriously goes from one eyebrow to the other. lol i kept calling her 'unibrow' and tristan caught on and thought that was pretty funny. i ended up telling him we probably shouldn't be calling her that since there really are people out there w/ real unibrows and we don't want to hurt anyone's feelings. lol so, anywho...here are the pics!
